Plot – Joe Fox and Kathleen Kelly live and work a few blocks away from each other on the Upper West Side of New York. They go to the same grocer – Zabars – and they have coffee in the same Starbucks. Joe lives with Patricia Eden,a brilliant editor and a very attractive woman,while Kathleen lives with Frank,an enthusiastic and cultured journalist. They are both convinced that their lives,and their relationships,are fully satisfactory until they meet each other on a chat line and they start talking. HIdden under the pseudonyms ‘NY152’ and ‘Shopgirl’,Joe Fox and Kathleen Kelly end up telling every single detail of their private lives to their correspondent,without revealing their real identity.
