Plot – Japan’s forests are plundered by Tatara,the blacksmiths’ clan. The Great God of the Forest allows the other gods to change themselves into huge beasts to protect their kingdom against humans. In a remote mountain village called Ashitaka,the last warrior of Emishi clan kills a beast to protect his village,then he discovers the creature was actually a protector of the forest. Now Ashitaka is under a curse,so he travels towards the Tataras to foil the oath. Along the way he meets Lady Eboshi,a Tatara guide,then he meets Princess Mononoke,a young woman raised by wolves ready to die to defeat humans. Ashitaka is involved in the struggle between men and nature and seeks a way to end that violence. In the end Mononoke comes back to his forest.
